NDIS essentials

You may be eligible if you are under 65, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and live with a permanent and significant disability affecting everyday life. We can help you work out whether this applies.

An NDIS plan is a personalised document outlining your goals and the funding allocated to help you achieve them. It is reviewed regularly and can include supports across daily living, capacity building, capital, and more.

A support coordinator helps you understand and implement your NDIS plan. They connect you with providers like us, manage service agreements, and help you get the most from your funding.

Plan management determines how your NDIS funding is handled — self-managed, plan-managed, or agency-managed. We work with all three types.

Work with providers who take a goals-led approach. We start by understanding what matters most to you, then tailor supports around those outcomes and ensure your reports are thorough for plan reviews.

Occupational Therapy

An OT helps you participate in the activities that matter to you — self-care, work, study, or community life. They assess how your disability affects daily functioning and recommend supports, equipment, home modifications, or therapy.

OT supports capacity building goals, assistive technology recommendations, functional assessments, home modification reports, and daily living skills development — one of the most commonly funded NDIS supports.

Yes. Our OTs are experienced in writing functional capacity assessments, support needs reports, and assistive technology justifications to support your NDIS plan and reviews.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists work with neurological conditions such as stroke, cerebral palsy, and acquired brain injury, as well as musculoskeletal pain, developmental delays, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Yes. Physiotherapy is typically funded under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living, provided it is reasonable, necessary, and linked to your disability-related needs and goals.

Our physiotherapists can provide exercise-based sessions in a variety of settings. Please ask when you make contact and we will discuss what is available and what your plan may fund.

Podiatry

Our podiatrists assess and treat conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower limbs — nail and skin care, biomechanical assessment, orthotic prescription, footwear advice, and conditions such as diabetes-related foot complications.

Yes. Podiatry can be funded under NDIS when it relates directly to your disability — including general podiatric care for people who cannot manage their own foot care, and biomechanical intervention.

No GP referral is needed for podiatry under the NDIS. You can self-refer, or be referred by your support coordinator, plan manager, or another health professional.

Dietetics

Our dietitians provide personalised nutrition support including tube feeding management, dysphagia dietary advice, weight management, and nutrition support for conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, and metabolic conditions.

Yes. Dietetics is funded under NDIS when directly related to your disability, falling under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing depending on your plan.

Yes. Our dietitians have experience with enteral nutrition and can work alongside other health professionals for participants with complex nutritional needs.

Referrals & access

Not in most cases. If you have an active NDIS plan, you can contact us directly or be referred by your support coordinator or plan manager.

Referrals can be made by the participant, a family member or carer, a support coordinator, a plan manager, a GP, or another health professional. Our online referral form takes only a few minutes.

We contact you on the same day we receive your referral and aim to have you booked in within a week.

Basic contact details, your NDIS number, plan management type, and a brief description of the support you are seeking. If you are unsure of anything, just submit what you have — we will follow up for the rest.

Costs & funding

If the support is funded within your NDIS plan, there is typically no out-of-pocket cost. We charge in line with the NDIS Price Guide and confirm this with you before any services begin.

Yes — self-managed, plan-managed, and agency-managed participants are all welcome. We handle invoicing according to your management type.

We monitor funding closely and will let you know well in advance if budgets are running low. We can help you request an unscheduled plan review and assist with the documentation required.

Medicolegal

A medicolegal OT assessment is an independent report for legal proceedings — personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, workers compensation, or family law. It documents functional capacity, care needs, and the impact of injury on daily life.

Reports are typically commissioned by solicitors, insurance companies, or courts. Both plaintiff and defendant parties can request assessments. All our reports are independent, objective, and prepared to withstand legal scrutiny.

Standard reports are delivered within 10–15 business days of assessment. Urgent reports can be arranged in 5–7 business days. Complex reports may take longer.

Yes. Our medicolegal team has extensive experience preparing reports for courts and tribunals, and are available for expert witness appearances when required.

Appointments & sessions

Your first session is an initial assessment. We spend time getting to know you, understanding your history, and exploring what you want to achieve. It is a conversation, not a form. From there we plan your support together.

Initial assessments are typically 60–90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are usually 45–60 minutes. We will discuss session frequency and duration with you at your first appointment.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice where possible. Late cancellations may incur a fee in line with NDIS guidelines. We understand life happens — please just get in touch as early as you can.
